    Smile Newbie Ice Out Question's

So for us Norfers, the ice is now out and our favourite lakes are ready for action. What kind of minimum water temps do most people find the fish are starting to move shallow and feeding? What kind of temps do they start to move back into deeper water again?

I'm going to try and get the boat in the water this weekend and find out what the temps are, but I am guessing they are still in 40's for now. Is this too early to even try, if not where would be a good place to start?

    Thanks folks!!

Don't let a little cold water stop you. We normally get 40 degree water for about a month and a half after ice out. The fish cold be anywhere from 2 feet down to 30+ feet down. Present them with the right bait and they will bite.
