PST's are good....also BnM has the new PowR troller out now.
Thinking about upgrading my rods. I have some bgjp that I love, but im wanting to get something to handle more weight. I plan on starting to power troll some and push some crank baits. I don't see myself using over 2-3 oz. Which would be better, scrt or the pst?

If you're gonna throw 3 ounce on a pole and a crank, the Powr troller works much, much better. Pick up some Shakespeare ATS line counters and you will be set up for pushing cranks with a fairly accurate depth reading. No way I would use my PST's again for heavy weighted crank set ups.
If you want a dual purpose rod say pushing and spider rigging or pulling cranks the PST or SCRT would be better. My opinion is SCRT carries weight a little better and is cheaper. If you want a set for power trolling with cranks and jigs an 3 oz or more of weight the power troller gets the nod. But they are a single purpose rod. To heavy and stiff for anything else.
Ok, yeah I've never used more that 2 Oz's. But I was thinking might step up to 3 oz with pushing jigs.

I use the Southern Crappie Rods T or 2 oz pole for spider rigging with 1 oz weights it works great on these big fish here at Grenada. The tip is plenty sensitive enough to detect the light bite.
I used them this summer spider rigging in 25 fow with 3 oz catching some big fish
