Sorry to hear bout your rods Buckmark. What kind of wally marshall rods were they?
Went fishing today with a friend. We caught a decent number of crappie and kept a few nicer ones.
We loaded up my small boat and started home. At one of the traffic lights I hit the brakes and both trolling motor batteries slid to the front of the truck bed on the plastic bed liner.
The batteries destroyed 4 Wally Marshall Crappie rods, and 2 of his Ugly Sticks. None of reels were hurt thank God!
I have a nylon strap back there to tie the batteries down with. He unstrapped them in the morning, but forgot for the ride home. I never asked or checked to see if he did.
Tonight I order 4 BPS rods to replace the ones I bought in Oct.
