    Default How deep at Jordan?

I'm going to fish Jordan this weekend and was wondering if anyone can give me a tip on how deep they've been finding the crappie there. I haven't fished Jordan since March & I guarantee the fish aren't holding in the same areas as early Spring. Any help is appreciated.

I caught 7 short crappie, one 12.5 inches, several white perch, a few white bass, and one channel cat around 6 pounds on Sunday morning at Jordan. All were caught pulling #5 Flicker Shads behind my kayak. I ended up paddling 10.6 miles for the morning. At dawn, Shad were being herded up along the old railroad bed north of the 4 lanes just east of the Parkers Creek campground, parallel to the bank. Osprey, Cormorants, and an Eagle were in on the action too. The bite slowed around 9:00 AM when the little bit of clouds there burnt off. Fishing slowed even more, between the wind and pleasure boat traffic picking up, it made paddling difficult, so I gave up. Didn't have a camera with me, but the clouds at sunrise and a Bald Eagle hunting fish less than 40 yards away were the most remarkable parts of the day.
