I know what that knot is but not sure what you mean....I know you have to run your line through the swivel but I'm lost after that.

Just like you tie a hook on. One knot on either side, usually a leader between the swivel and bait/jig.

I pre-tie my leaders with Palomar knots on the barrel swivel and snap, then attach the other end of the swivel to my main line with another Palomar. It is a super strong, low profile knot.

    I hope this helps.

Sorry, I didn’t answer your question right. I have had the improved clinch knot fail on me when I trimmed it too close. Minimum of 1/8” tag line when you trim, and I think 1/4” is better. Lots of good knots work, with the Paloma’s knot being near the top. For joining leader and main line, I like a double uni knot. A small learning curve when using tiny line( 4 lb and less) but very worth learning. YouTube has lots of tutorials on almost any knot you may ever need

Tie your main line (the line coming off of your reel and threaded through the eyes on your rod) to the barrel swivel with what ever knot you like. Tie a two to four foot leader on the other end of the barrel swivel. Tie your lure to the end of that leader. ????
    Tell'em I'll be there.
