    Default Smithville...

With all the rain we had yesterday, and maybe more today, do you think the crappie will bite better? Thinking about going out today or tomorrow. Went out last weekend, and only got a few shorts from shore. Saw some people fishing for walleye on the dam, but haven't heard whether they caught any or not. I think for sure, the lake level will be up a little, and it should help the lake overall.

    Tight lines....

Well, I guess I got my answer. Went to several places yesterday, and couldn't even got a bite. Try jigs, minnows, nothing. The water color isn't that bad, but definitely not clean. Hope you guys have better luck.

Saturday was pretty good for us. Three of us kept about 35 fish. No big ones but several around 11-12". Went back this morning and could only muster up 6 keepers.
