    Default High Rock last week

I've had a bit of trouble out of my motor, it's better than it was, still got a minor issue but can fish. Went Wednesday afternoon and brought back 10 in the wind. Went Friday afternoon and brought back 18. Water is warming so they should be shallow soon.

Nice catch turkeyfootnc. I tried Crane creek yesterday and found a lot of fish in the fallen trees along the shore. Unfortunately most were too small to bring home. I was using a big under a slip bobber and dipping in the trees. It's my favorite way to fish. When they hit, the border instantly dissapears.

Some of the fish have already spawned and move back out. Some are spawning. We've been really catching good quantities of fish and some VERY nice fish. The key is the late afternoon to dark. Really skinny water doesn't appear to be all that good. Most fish we've been catching are in at least 5 feet of water. Water is close to 70 degrees in many areas of the lake. Just my penny!
