Default Need heavy duty 3/4” pin bases

I have 5 ofGene’s Millenium seats and I and my clients love them. I’ve bought the 3/4” pin bases at both Gander Mt and WalMart. I get lots of very large clients and break the pin out of the spring and base often. I’ve tried welding them back together but not happy with results. Does anybody have a source for super heavy bases or a solution for mine breaking?
    Thanks.

Might try the black seat bases at Shop-a-Roma Doug. I've had really good luck out of them since my last problems with Walmart and Gander Mountain products.

That would lower them and reduce the leverage.

Thanks for replies. Gene sent 2 bases without springs with my Side Kick unit so that might be by design. I’ll put those on my seats plus I ordered 2 more bases that have no springs PLUS the 3/4” pin extends up thru the baseplate and is spot welded. I’ll probably run a solid bead weld around top and bottom.

It’s amazing how how clients tend to treat my gear different than I figure they would their own. Couple years back I had a guy about 175 pounds who decided the seat was a rocking chair. I asked him to stop with no response that he even understood me. At the end of the trip I had to throw the seat pole away because the bottom pin was almost out of the pole.

Roll the poles up and taken em to the bank, I've had very little problem but not gonna let em tear my stuff up. Rod tip all along or something is just part of it.

In a business wear and tear is expected but intentional abuse is not. Anyone that intentionally breaks something should have to pay for it.
