PST's or Heavy 2 oz Southerns
So I'm in the market for a new set of trolling poles. I have a set of 12 ft. Capps and Coleman's, a set of 14 ft. BGJP's and now want to add a set of 16 ft. poles. I was going to get another set of Capps and Coleman's but I saw in the description that they now have a lighter action. Does anyone have experience with these new lighter action Capps and Coleman's and the older ones? If so how much lighter are they? Would they hold up to say a 2oz. sinker pushing a bandit 300? Or pulling a crank bait? Also if anyone has suggestions on a good set of trolling poles, besides Denali's, I don't have that kind of $, I'd like to hear opinions. I been kinda wanting to try Jenkos or ACC but am just torn on the decision.
Pulling crankbaits the BnM PST would be what you need.

Capps and colemans are one of the best spiderriging poles, but not designed for 2oz weight.Pst or southern crappies 16t would be fine for 2oz weights.

Having no experience with any other trolling rods, I've been happy with my Bass Pro Crappie Max rods. They are the med/hvy Tightline Special model. I've pushed Bandit 300s with 3oz weights, but more often pull straight cranks. I have them in 12',14',and 16'. No complaints.
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work, unless you fish for a living.SlabPappi LIKED above post
Southern Crappie rods in the T series. Designed just for that and much cheaper than most others in that catagory. I haven't talked to the first person that has broken one of his poles fishing.

Don't bother with the Southern's. Get the PST's for what you just listed. Power troll and cranks, they are great rods.
