I will agree thanks for the posts.
I figured that today was going to be the last nice day in a while, so I went over to Pomme this afternoon.
First spot I went to was a no go. Steep bluff right against the deep river channel with scattered timber. Was a good spot during the winter.
Pulled into a small cove next, 23 fow, some visible timber, marked a submerged tree stump and some brush with fish nearby. Tried a BGBS in black/chart, no luck. Switched to a sauced blue ice, game on. Fan casting over the general area, slow retrieve.
Boated 8-10 in an hour, half were barely legal keepers. Don't think I caught one over 10 inches.
Water was stained but still had several inches of visibility, 53 degrees.
Sure wish spring was here to stay, this roller coaster weather pattern has been tough.

We was out yesterday also on Pomme, son had his limit spider rigging and I had a big fat 0 in the back of the boat.NEVER FIGURED OUT WHAT i WAS DOING WRONG.But that's fishing. He gave me his fish so I still got my hands smelly cleaning them.found fish from 10 to 30 ft of water, most were 12 to 15 ft down
.
Good job.
If we did what was most important in life there
would be a shortage of Bibles.................and fishing poles
