It'd be hard to get me off the water if my lake was 64 degrees!!! Sounds like a nice day though.
Took a short trip today on Lake Austin. Water temp 64 degrees. No overt sign of spawn but my brother and I picked up three nice crappie in a couple of hours scouting the lake. I was blessed with a nice one at 14 inches and a pound and a half. Very nice for our lake. I cannot wait for the pending action.

very nice. lake of the Ozarks is at 48.
yeah bro I don't get whats up at all ....I sent my bud to a spot with 62 degree water and the fish are on fire spawning and here around ft worth we are 64 to 66 in most spots and they aint in shallow ....me thinks it aint just water temps involved as I have said from the VERY beginning danget ...
some other set of factors are in play as well as water temps. and I suspect its a combination of things that have to be in line for the spawn to take place , I am thinking the water temps. are right and we should have fish shallow in ft worth but so far after about 5 different guys including myself hitting 8 different lakes locally we have found none in short water to speak of .
nice fish for sure brother ,congrats
sum kawl me tha outlaw ketchn whales
I think the full moon also is a factor.
