Has anyone used their revolution x bobber? They look nice in pictures. Balsa float with the ability to take it on and off without rerigging? I am currently using ESB bobbers now, but since I had rather feel the thump than watch a bobber I find myself cutting and rigging a lot.

Thanks ship! I been here a while, just don't post much. I don't feel experienced enough yet to offer much advice to anyone, and the search option usually reveals answers to my questions. I'd prolly screw up posting a picture but the website is Rod-N-Bobbs - Premium Fishing Products

I have used floats a lot like those and I do like them. One guy from Texas is a big fan of that kind of float and I'm sure he will chime in on it as well. He may have even used the brand to catch a few.

Yes am jig fishing. Some lakes we fish have lots of standing timber and logs on shallow flats like less than 6 ft. It's easier to use a bobber because you can keep your jig closer to stumps longer. If you hit those areas and don't find fish and then move out to a deeper area, I'd rather not have the bobber.
I could make it with a regular non slip bobber but on days where several are in the boat it's nice to have a slip just so you don't have so much line hanging off your pole when you cast. I just thought these would work good because I can use them like a slip and then take it off when we moved areas, but I couldn't find a lot of reviews on them.
Since you said you wouldn't use a bobber with jigs. What would you recommend for these areas? Just cast and drag with weedless head and hope you don't hung up?

Website is so busy it is hard to select what you want. It would be great if there was a bobber for 1/8th and lighter weights and one for 1/16th or lighter. Guess that is why Thill is still my choice. They are marked for the jig size you use. Ketchn turned me on to these a while back.

Hey Lil Fat guy,
I'd give a couple of them a try for 4 bucks, never know they just might be what you're looking for.
Good luck
