I have a 2003 but it has a 75 hp. I had it upgraded when I bought it. Not sure if it will help - but I'll check the prop tomorrow or look in the manual and see what I can find for you.
Does anyone run a 2003 or so pro crappie 175 with a 60hp on it?If so would you Please tell me what size prop is on your boat and does it plain out ok?My folks own one and it will jump outta the hole great but wont lift the nose outta the water and plain out.It just blows the prop. I have lowered the motor and everything else i can think of and can't get the darn thing to plain out and raise the nose.
It is not the original motor so i am starting to believe its just proped wrong and don't have the right pitch prop on it for this boat.
Any help would be nice.:D
Thanks Hog

I have an 05 50 hp four stroke on an 06 PC175. It has a 10.5" dia by 13" pitch prop and will run about 32 mph.

It just blows the prop?
Sounds like your pitch is low enough.
Does the motor have adjustable trim?
Are the rpms getting up on the high side of the gage. (Don't know the limit on yours.)
What is the size of your prop?
What is the pitch?
How many blades?

Still learning this crappie thing.

Maybe it has a bad hub and isn't the pitch of the prop at all?
From what I found this morning, it looks like 14p should be close. Looks like that boat should run around 30 to 35 mph.
