Yes they are, great longlining rod
Is the SCR's any stiffer than the BGJP the B&M's are a little more flimsy than I like I've been wanting to try Ed's rods but hate to order one if it's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for some good long lining rods 8' 10' and 12's that's a little stiffer than the BGJP's.

Like John said, the SCRs are great longlining rods with a soft tip but stiff backbone. Whole bunch of Ed's rods have been bought after folks used them in my boat.

Sounds good guy's I guess I will get me some ordered what sizes do y'all use I've been using 8' 10' and 12' I hae though aboutgoing to 6' 8' and 10' what's y'alls opinion
I just ordered 2 6' one piece rods to finish my spread and I agree, Ed is a great guy and very easy to deal with. Looking forward to them.
I use 4 pairs in 6, 8, 10, and 12' set 90* to the boat and 4 seven footers out the back. This is my longline jig trolling setup and it works very well for me. The way I have it set up is easy for me to run all these rods by myself. Once the bite gets cooking I have to bring a few of those in, but it's a real ball on an average day.
I don't think you'll be disappointed.
