    Fished an old oxbow off the Mississippi today from 11-2pm.Kept 29 from 9"-12".Pushing jigs set 3'-4' in 6-8 FOW. Them old river crappie got some THICK shoulders !!

    I miss river fishing. Fished the Coosa and Tallapoosa Rivers in Alabama when I was a kid. There are some big slabs on those two rivers.
