Default Kayak Trip Report, Limestone Bay

I've been working out of town for almost two months, finally got home Tuesday and found a little time to get on the water this afternoon. I made a short trip to the North end of Limestone Bay. Fishing was a little tough, they dropped the bottom out of Wheeler with the lake now at what is typically the winter low water mark. I still managed a couple dozen Crappie, half would measure and many small bass and gills. All fish returned for another day. No fish finder today so not sure on the temperature, but the water was cold and very clear. Most fish came off a 1" slider on a 1/32oz jig head.

Sounds like a good outing. Glad to hear you're back in town and back on the water.

Glad your back. Hopefully, you are here for a while to get some more water time. Congrats on the catch.
