I haven't been in a while but the last time I whent it was a little slow one fish here one there. If you cover a lot of water I'm sure you will get a few. Try docks and laydowns

I’ve been three days within the last week spider rigging creek channels and fishing lay downs. All fish caught between 12 - 16 ft deep.

    Friday 11/24 - 13 crappie

    The two biggest observations are:
    1) the surface water temp dropped from 59 to 52/53 ina week.

    2) 6 of the fish caught had eggs. I’ve never seen eggs this early!

Eggs in fish this time of year is normal. They don't just magically appear just before the spawn. For most of us the fishing on Neely Henry has been slow for most of the fall. I do not know why but will still go and try them whenever possible. Hope everyone will keep giving reports so the rest of us will get to keep up with what is going on in the crappie fishing world.

Correct on the eggs guys. Actually I start see eggs in October and I didn't see any this October. Will be interested to see if that makes them late this spring. Probably not but food for thought.

Wish I could help but boat is on its way to factory tomorrow to get repaired. Catching one here and there in front of my house. I’ve watched one boat the past two days on one of my honey holes, I’m sure they are catching fish, you don’t say in same spot for 5 hours, then 4 hours the next day. River channel 12-18’.
