    Default huminnbird 360 question


    so i am looking to get all new electronics for my boat and my question is does the 360 transducer for the bow is it mega or am i wasting money to buy mega to view it .

    360 on mega is no different, then the gen 1 helix, still shows the same picture

    The 360 transducer only uses 455 kHz and will look the same on a Mega unit or a Non-Mega unit. However, because of chirp and Mega frequencies....2d, down imaging, and side imaging look amazing on a Mega unit. If you are only going to view 360, all the time, on the unit you are buying for it, I would not buy a Mega unit. IF it will be your only bow unit and you will be using it for everything.... I would definitely buy a Mega unit.

    Im thinking about getting a solix for the bow and a helix for the dash.
