    Default Hardy

Daughter and I went to Hardy Saturday afternoon and there were not many boats on lake. Tried a couple spots with no luck and the weed line at 4 foot found a bank that went from 4 foot to 8 foot then dropped to 13 foot. Caught a couple of 10 blue gills, one 10 1/2 red ear and 20 yellow bass that ran from 10 inches to 13 inches. Moved from here and picked up 3 10 inch crappie. Water temp was 73 to 75 and water was just barely stained. Is nice when a father can fish with 36 year old daughter, her 10 year old son did not want to go and look what he missed out on.

Nice report and glad you got to fish with your daughter. Maybe you can get the young boy out some time. Keep the faith and keep trying.

That used to be the best crappie lake in the state. It's on a huge decline I don't know if it will ever recover. Lake is full of yellows everywhere. Glad to hear you got into a few.
