I get 45ish out of my H20B with 115 Vmax SHO. I'd imagine you would be low 50's with the H18. They're incredibly smooth boats.

I've got an h18pfc with f115 Yamaha. With 112 terrova, 4 batteries, front livewell full, 13qt Engel bait tank, half to full tank of gas and 4 in manual jack plate I get about 40 with a 21 pitch prop. I can get up to 45 under the best of conditions, winter time, by myself, no bait, 1/4 tank and no livewell

My old neighbor gets about 48 with his. Same set up.
It catches a little more wind than my bass tracker did. But a lot less rod bounce with the larger boat and heavier. I knew that would be a con with the center console but 90% of the time i fish either into the wind or with drift socks with the wind at my back and that pretty much eliminates any problem

D does your neighbor have all the same weight as me? To be honest I can't remember exactly my top end cause it only happens in the winter when nobody wants to get in with me.

mine dosn't have the vmax just the standard yamaha 115. i've put on a speed prop and i have a hydraulic jackplate. with just me and near empty gas tank i can bump 60. fill up live wells, gas tank, and add a person 50's about all i can get. the boat handles best at 4800rpm which is around 41mph which where i run 90% of the time. over all its a great boat. handles easy, fishes well, i would recommend it to anyone.
I have a HB22 with a Yami 175, goes 60, with 3 peps empty live well, gas full, safe smooth dry ride, wind not a problem
