    Default Pushing & pulling

Got out yesterday, fished 7:30-2:00. Surface temp 76 when started, 84 at end. Bite was good til around 9, then slowed down a bunch. Top two baits were flicker shad "orange tiger" and Arkie "marmalade". Honorable mention was "fire tiger" flicker shad. Threw the rainbow of colors at em- pink, blue, black, chrome, gold, pearl, and combinations of em. Yellow/orange seemed to be what they wanted. Water was brownish olive green. Never lost a fish before 9 am, and had 10 keepers. Lost around 10-12 keepers at the boat after 9 am, pushing rods and pulling rods. Was like they quit eating it good and was just pecking at it, barely getting hooked. Ended with 17 crappie and 1 catfish. Didn't wear em out, but got enough to fry some fresh fish while watching college football Saturday. Here's some pics.

When they quit eating it and start pecking on it.....speed up....sometimes it makes a difference.

Thanks G. If that happens again, I'll speed up and see if that helps. Was around 1.5-1.7 all day. Maybe bump it up to 2.0 or so.

You're right Slabseeker! My crappie piglets ate it up. Tried to take some pics, can't hardly get em to be still long enough to get a pic.
