Default After the parting of the clouds

Me: Lord, I want to take my son fishing, but we have chores to do at home. I'm not sure what we should do. Show me a sign. Any sign will do.

Looking for a Truman fishing report from the last couple of days, after Wednesday's storms.
I want to drive out tonight from St. Louis to take my son fishing this weekend, and am trying to see what pattern the fish are on since the storms and cool front came through a couple of days ago.
Hoping to put this young man on a mess of fish.

    Reports appreciated!

Looks like going fishing. I think dipping trees and brush is doing pretty good. Best way to know is to go and try try try .

Upper end of the Grand is tough and the mud is rolling. We caught fish today but it was a light bite and really had to be in the brush or take beds to get bit.
The long shoal to Bucksaw bite is still the best for numbers. Dipping timber and brush on the flats.

Is that you, Jared? Long time no see
We were out there a few weeks ago and stopped into our favorite Clinton store, but didn't see you (on a Saturday).

I was afraid of that - lots of rain = lots of mud slowing down the bite.
Think it's worth an 8 hour round trip drive, or is the bite still similar enough to the last couple of weeks, which has been decent?
