    Default Wapp shark

Guy down at the station just showed me an article on FB where a bull shark (I think) was captured by DOC at Wappapello recently. Is this for real? How it would have traversed from the Mississippi R to Wapp IDK. The article said they suspect from all the flooding and overflows. Guess it was around the 4th. Perhaps it has already been reported and I missed it.

hi fellas im from ms and saw the same story on fb yesterday. i always been fascinated by sharks and i remember reading in national geographic where there was documetation of a bull shark found in the ms at st. louis. at the time that was the farthest inland a shark had ever OFFICIALLY known to have traveled and he was found dead tangled in a trot line.

That is true. They found a dead 6 foot bull shark in the water intake in Alton Illinois. It more than likely swam up the Mississippi River from the gulf. There is no way a shark could make it into Wappapello from the ocean. There is no direct link.

The hook has been set many times.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.
