    Default Kingdom of Calloway?

Ever heard of it? Off highway 70 at the Williamsburg exit. A friend of mine has a lake lot there and asked me if I wanted to fish Saturday afternoon. It is tough crappie fishing when the other person bass fishes. I seen a lot of areas that i would have liked to fish but was in the back of the boat for the ride. He did good at bass fishing and I caught enough for dinner. He wants to try crappie fishing after he seen some of the crappie I caught. Name: kingdom of calloway.jpg

Is that the name of the lake?

    Nice Mark.

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Nice! I've been in that situation many times. Most of my friends are bass fisherman and one likes to keep that trolling motor going at 100% power 100% of the time which it makes it tough for most bass fishing, much less crappie. With others that bass fish at a slower pace, I'll compromise and throw a ned rig and occasionally pick up a big ole crappie in between bass.

Hey Mark, that's where I get most of my non targeted species. But that crappie looks nice.
