You call that a crappie pole? Get out in that boat of yours and go for the big ones.

Good start, don't want to set the bar too high on the first one.

like any lake have to figure out how to fish it right way, mark said it was full of little crappie and he wasn't lying. But have seen couple of nice limits he has had so it's just a matter of getting used to my new pontoon and where to and how to. havn't even had the trolling motor on it yet, this weekend for sure. some of my kids live close by and they are getting into going out on it just havn't caught anything yet but at least my one son is suddenly into fishing with his buds.

I'd have a hard time eating fish out of LSL. Seen more than one case of raw sewage going into the lake when folks piping and/or pumps fail.

Buddy of mine is on water and sewer commission for ofallon and LSL and has seen the camera feed of inspecting LSL pipes and they are in pretty good shape. many lakes like this will get some from time to time but overall water quality isn't bad at all for all the homes on the lake.
