I like that color also.

Do you have a color you like to use more than any other? I seem to be catching more on a lime green head than any other color and its getting harder and harder to even think about trying any others anymore. If the bite slows I'll change jig body color but that green head has to stay.

Orange for me. I feel that same way about it. After that it is chart, then pink. I don't believe I have ever bought a lime green head. Looks like I gotta go back to academy now!

80% of my Crappie jig heads are not painted of which I use 90% of the time. I find changing jig weights, and plastic colors does more for me then jig head color.

Chart, red, orange in that order. My test imply that it makes no difference but I'm superstitious.
I really think that the head color has the least effect, too, but if it is what gives you confidence then you will fish it longer and better and that is what puts fish in the boat. Confidence catches fish!

Plain head most of the time.
