How does this have to do with Croppie fishing you ask? I have had such a good week of finding and catching them little rascals that my thumb prints are worn down to nothing. I have so many little cuts on my fingers and palms from picking them up and getting poked by their fins, sliced by their gills when cleaning them, nicked by my fillet knife a couple times... Ahh, the spoils of victory.!
Today's 1 hour haul.
Made it back to the launch just in the knick of time for a 5 minute monsoon of a hail storm.
Yesterday had 2 boats creep up on me and fished the shoreline i was anchored at and caught 40-some ofd crappies between 6:30PM and 7:30PM while neither boat had any luck. They were using bobbers and live bait and I was jigging a silver 1.5" tube. I definitely have them figured out on my go-to Lake. I can't believe I never got into this style of fishing before. It's literally just one after the other after the other after the other. So much fun.
