    ​took my boat to the dead chan friday and me and my nephew got or limit on cats then we got our limit on crappiehere is a pic of my take action was fast and furious

    The "dead channel" is the old channel below Truman dam the main flow from the dam flows straight down stream.
    Ther is a boat ramp on the old channel, plenty of parking.

    as long as truman is releasing water it should stay good.

    there are also 3 fishing docks. Spent the day there yesterday. Slow with a lot of smaller crappie but some nice ones were also caught.
