I got tired of the weatherman telling me not to go fishing so.... despite the gloomy forecasts, I wacked them Friday on the gravois with a cork and then wacked them up the Osage Sunday rigging. East wind not my friend but sticking it out all day does pay off. It only takes a 30 min feeding frenzy, wind change, or the sun to come out to change your stars. Fish were everywhere but most had lockjaw. Caught them shallow, deep, around docks and out in the channel. No pattern... just fish till you figure it out.

That's fishing, you just go and figure it out on the fly! WTG things are not always perfect and have killed them when crappy weather and no one else around, suddenly the bite turns on and rewards you for your persistance. Not always but hey, we don't remember those times.
