    Default Baby Bass crankbait?

I read somewhere on here where someone's best Bandit lures were the Baby Bass and the Mad Cow. Does anyone else have experience with these two lures? The bass one looks realistic, just never imagined a crappie eating a bass.

I've done well with the footloose / baby bass bandit and heard mad cow was a hit on Grenada at certain times last summer. Crappie are indiscriminate eaters, they have been known to eat other crappie, if it's smaller than them it's a potential meal.

I have done well with both colors. They are part of my rotation.

Where I was in TN when I trolled a lot of cranks, Mad Cow didn't work too hot. I bought it because of all the print from folks that used it with good success. I listen to everyone and try what they use and see what works for me. In that I develop my own "Best of" pattern for where I fish.

They all have their days when they're the hot color. That's part of the reason cranking gets to be so expensive-because you've gotta have at least six of each color in your box for the "what if" scenario when all the stars are lined up and you need six rods with Red Splatterback in the water at the same time to get in on the hot bite.

I've had luck at times on both colors depending on the body of water.

Dark green is one of my major go-to colors. I've caught a ton of crappie on Mad Cow.
