I have seen a few of those vids in the past and they are very interesting for sure . In some you might notice the large number of fish that approach jigs and don't bite and or just nudge and sniff the bait ....
this is the reason I use scents on my baits knowing full well that fish might turn and swim away if it don't smell and taste right ....

Mind sharing a favorite or 2? I use nibbles, but that's about it. And honestly.... I don't use them as often as I should.

I personally will use white or chartreuse crappie nibbles or I will mix some Anise with some Gulp, Garlic Salt and Cod Liver Oil and put that mixture on my soft plastics. Works for me.
