Try again. Wyatt and I started out fishing the Grand up above Bucksaw. About an hour and a half went by and only had 2 short fish and 2 other bites. Decided to load the boat back up and head for Windsor crossing on the Tebo arm.
In an hour of fishing we had 10 good sized crappie, some might even call them "slabs". That was enough for tonight's supper so we headed out.
25ft of water 8ft down was the best bite. Electric chicken was our color of choice.

Nice job! Any ice around or is the lake pretty well open? Thinking about trying one day this week while it's warm.

I haven't been to Truman in years, makes me remember the good old days when the lake first opened up. Thanks for posting.
