My favorite hands down... Love to dip a jig into any and everything

I have spent thousands on crappie equipment, sonars, pole holders, Ect. I keep 21 poles on my boat. I spyder fish, long line troll, crank baits ~& jigs. I have spent thousands on equipment and on and on. In the end, I catch more fish & bigger fish, jigging with one pole straight down. I have caught thousands with all the methods, but in the end, give me one pole & the THUMP!

Yep. Thanks for sharing. My preference is single-pole cast and retrieve, vertical fishing, and flipping.

Fishing is a privilege...catching is a bonus. Enjoy each precious moment we have to experience our great outdoors!
Spaceman- I love casting for them, today they wanted no movement. Up and down only.

Trypman1: I am glad to hear today you found what worked. I like your one pole preference and wholly like your reference to "back to basics". Something fun and rewarding about one-on-one fishing. I use my 3 preferred techniques until the fish tell me what they want. Congrats.

Your not the only one!!! I've done the same thing, now my long rod for trolling and for sprider rigging have been collecting dust for 7 years or more, about 30 of them, vertical jigging and shooting docks is all I do. Catch a lot more fish now than I ever did with 8 rods!
