Default Pitiful day at Smithville............ for me any way.

Got there early, next to last one off of lake. Caught MORE dink white bass than I ever have at Smithville. Ended up with two average 9.5 and 1- 10 Crappie . From all of the boats that were ON the lake and on the docks, there are NO reports, guess every body did bad also ? I fished multiple piles all over the lake, water was 36.9 windy and cold from the NORTH. HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERY BODY, BETTER FISHING TIMES NEXT YEAR.

Never been there myself but seems that lake has a lot of little fish...any reason why?

The best fishing there is probably the Spawn ( of the Crappie )and the Walleye fishing up until late Spring. Other than that, just another lake.

Slow day today. But with the rain and the spillway running I didn't have high hopes. Came home with just 4 today. All were stuffed with shad
