Default Definition of a "slab" crappie..... no offense to those whose name includes slab.

I myself have used this term and I see many others do so often. What defines a "slab" crappie to you?

The body of some fish even being same length as others 1 fish is just a lot better fish than the other. Of course the big ones we all call slabs. But I judge smaller fish too and call smaller fish slabs.

I call Crappie a slab over 13", although a 12" Crappie is nice.

For me it totally depends on the day! Some days a 13" is a slab to me and on others a 9" is!
