Thought I might go to Jordan Monday. I need to practice a few times before The North State Tournament for wounded worriers and vets. I want my guest to catch some crappie.

Training for retirement since 1983
If you find something please share with me I'll be up there for the event snd Jordan is a bite far for a lookie loo trip for me
I will indeed. I know how to fish Jordan in the winter but from what I see in the weather forecast the water temp will not change very much between now and the event.
I plan to go up Thursday before and hope to ride around a little to see the lake (never been on it).
Maybe I'll get lucky and fine something. I hate taking these guys out and not put them on fish
Thanks for any help you can offer
Grady
Charles and I should be out there the Saturday before.
Well, I made the trip. I have never used that ramp. When I jumped off the dock to pull my truck to the parking lot my knee gave way and I had a major battle with the ramp. I tried to leave the ramp scared as bad as I was but just could not. I looked to see if anyone was there to help me but after I crawled up the front of my truck and stood there a few seconds I was glad no one saw me. I was in pain but I went there to fish. The lake was nice with tea colored water at 81.5*. I picked up a nice channel cat and shortly after I got tw0 14" black crappie. I'm going to get them today....WRONG. I caught a few dinks and that was it. The fish I caught were at 13' The keepers were on the bottom in 13' and the small ones were at 13' in much deeper water.
mac crappie, sporkd2 LIKED above post
Hope your knee will be ok

Ice that knee, if the swelling stays get it drained. Been there done that. One time I had 51ccs of fluid drained from one knee, limped to the MD and walked out. After several draining I had the miniscus tear repaired
