    Default Best split ring pliers

I have been cranking twice and broke one hook off a treble hook on my Arkie each time. They seem to be brittle, I guess so they don't straighten out.
I ordered the hooks from Arkie.
What make and size split ring pliers for the size split rings on the Arkies.

" Xuron," Cableas,or Barlow's tackle. Most have a blue handles pricey but you will never have to buy another pair.Worth the price especially on crankbaits.

I use a pair of small kobalt wire cutters I got from Lowe's for $5 and they work perfect. I can put 2 hooks and a split ring on the lip in seconds and they were way cheaper.

What size do I need for the rings on Arkies? There are a lot of different Xurons.
I have arthritis in my hands so I need an easy pair to work.

Xuron are about $12 from Amazon and the best there is. All of mine are the same size and are about 6 inches long. I have honestly given away the other split ring pliiers I have bought.

Got my Xurons in today, $11 on EBay and man what a difference....played with em for a few minutes this afternoon and they're 10x easier than other ways. Gonna make putting hooks on crankbait orders so much faster! Thanks for the recommendation Dux
