    Default Bandit crank bait


    I had a couple old beat up bandit baits repainted. My version of awesome pink... It' the first crank bait I have ever painted ...I need to work on the eye some. you guys think it will catch something? I hear pink is a good color for crappie

    I like the color. As you fool with these you will find that certain shades of the same color will outperform the others by a wide margin. And don't forget a chartreuse stripe on the side, like a sexy shad, or a touch of red or orange on the belly. Both have done well for me. A pearl belly in white or silver is another. For the eye; try to find a hole punch that makes a dot just the right size to cover the eye while you paint. The one in the pic will do fine, the fish don't care.
