Tillery report 8/12

Decided to try out the long lining on Tillery Friday morning. Got frustrated early with perch. I couldn't get away from them in 15-25 fow early on. Trolled another area and wasn't catching anything or marking much.

Said enough of that and decided to jig some deep brush. Caught about a dozen crappie, kept 6 for dinner.

Went out today for a boat ride (wife wanted to) and marked a few more brush piles to try so it was a successful day today as well.

Sounds like you had two productive days anyway. It always pays to have a plan B.
