Default Ships Bay Duck Blind fishing

I was fishing white and chartreuse and only getting nibbled, then I realized the water was so dirty I switched to black and red and I was bobbing fish. 4-5' of water drop it down and pull up fish, it was that fast. Then the water got rough and we had to get back to shore. Striper and white perch.Name: sandbridge 6-24-16 kelly 038.jpg

No snakes by the way, that was odd. Plenty of spiders. The water blew up in 10 min, forecast was 5mph but we had 10+. The shallow bay reacts fast to wind. Did not see another boat fishing only Kayaks exploring.

I love to get in to them white perch, when they are in the blitz. I used to hit them thick in Aug, up in Back Bay. Grass shrimp are a killer bait for WP.
    Thanks for this report.
