I have used several and for that price range I can't really see that much separation. Pick the biggest you can afford with the best reviews. A regular 12 volt will work.
Need help and advice about buying a submersible green lignt.
I want to buy submersible green lignt for crappie fishing, my budget for the light is 40 dollars (money is kinda tight).
There are lots of brand, which brand is reliable for about 40 bucks?
Also, do I need marine battary or a regular 12 volt battery will work?
Thanks in advance for helping me out.

Don't have any direct experience with it, but I've been looking at the Berkley Submersible Light as a possible purchase.
I have one, and really haven't had much luck. It kept floating back against the boat, and not staying where I wanted it. I started fishing around deep, lighted marinas on summer nights. Caught a lot of big fish, able to see what I'm doing, and less navigating dark waters.
Some of our local fishing/bait shops have some for sale made by local guys. I've made some myself and have about $40 in a 30" LED strip wrapped around 1" PVC and encased with clear PVC (2-1/4" I think) and then wired/sealed, but I have to make 2-3 at a time with the LED Strip lights and PVC sizes, extension cord, etc. to work out to that price... Good luck to you.
