    Default LOZ 4/18

Shane and I couldn't get the Turkeys to work so we went fishing in the rain. Cuaght our limits In about 3 1/2 hours. Took us awhile to figure them out but we finally got on them. Clouds and rain moved them off the bank to 12-14 fow suspended about 9 foot down.
Bobby Garland Stroller in Shiney Hiney agian was the ticket.

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

We experienced the same pattern yesterday. Nothing on the bank, caught them on docks with brush midway down. Limits in about 3 hours or so. Only caught 1 male, and it wasn't very black and didn't have a tore up tail yet either. Water temp 59-62.

    2.5" Stroll'R | Bobby Garland Crappie Baitsfs

Anything silver or blue ice would probably be comparable.

I personally don't use the Stroll'r though, I fish 3" Bobby Garland Slab Slayers in Blue Ice, or Pumpkinseed/Pearl Chartreuse almost exclusively.
3" Slab Slay'R | Bobby Garland Crappie Baitsfs

Then might switch to 2" southern pro hot grub when they are on the banks.
