Glad you got out Gordon !
Friday, couldn't stand all the pictures and left work at 4:30, mad dash to the lake, took rigging rods and rack off the boat, launched at 6:30, caught nine in Jackson by a little after sun down.
Saturday, launched 7ish, fished Jackson a bit, not much luck, headed up and tried a few others, stopped in a no-name dimple on the lake (new water for me),caught 12 of our fish off that bank, rest came here and there until partner hadto quit early at 12:30.
Sunday, partner fished with his wife so I’m alone. Fished some around U highway then headed onup around power lines, fished until 2:30 ended up with 13. Caught the biggest fish dipping tightclusters way off the bank. Big fish offthe was in a little cluster of sticks sticking up in 2’ of water, 80’ from thebank in the back of a cove, she nailed that jig as soon as it went in. Don’t just pound the bank, keep a dipping rodbusy, alternate to keep it interesting. Feeling the “thump” on that dipping rod was the highlight.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.DesertBerry, Joedog LIKED above post
