LOZ - Saturday and Sunday (4/16 &17)

I thought from reading all the post that we would have to hide our jigs for fear of the way the fish were biting. We caught a total of 84 for the both days, three of us fishing. My angling buddies included my 86 year old father and my 11 year old son. So dock shooting and flipping in behind docks really wasn't an option. We found them in shallow water around brush and caught some around docks in the main channel. We never experienced the terrific early evening bite that other described. I would describe them as scattered because we never found a single place where they were loaded up. The water temp was around 58 in the mid-lake area where we fished. 1/16 road runner jig head with white and chartreuse tube jig or blue and silver mister twister. It was a great weekend to be out and fish with these two. We'll be back next weekend! I still haven't figure out how to rotate these pictures after I upload them from my iPhone. If someone has figured this out please let me know.
