You better get back out there, I know there is at least one out there hungry. The wind was terrible in St Louis
Went out this morning and scored 0 , nothing, Goosegg !
Tried brush, banks and docks at all depths.
Not even a nibble.
Been a while since I've been totally skunked.
I might get time to try it this evening.

Cold front after cold front has driven them back out to deeper water. Can't remember the wind blowing this hard and for a longer period of time. Water temp is 5 degrees cooler than it was two weeks ago. Someday we will have better conditions.
If it's really windy and warm, try hitting the points the wind is blowing into with a bobber set-up, sometimes shallower than you'd expect. All I got

So maybe its not just that i suck at fishing then lol!! Someone else gets no fish,,
It was tough, got out at sunrise each day this weekend and fished until 9-9:30 when the wind really started blowing. Caught more Saturday morning than this morning, but that's not saying much. Very few fish in the keeper range and none over 10.5". I started out this morning and went to my "go to" docks and goose egged on the first three. But, for me it's not that unusual, right around a week or so before the males start moving in, they seem to get tight lipped. Ans It looked like that most that I caught this weekend were small males. Won't be long though before anyone can catch me. Plus, lake is slowly rising.
