Default A Productive Day LOZ 03-29-2016

Crappiejoe12 and I started at Never Nervous Purvis at 7 ante meridiem this morning and limited out at 1015 ante meridiem. We launched an all out assault to get 30 fish...threw over mid to deep brush, shot docks, pitched jigs in wells, and slip corked minnows. We were not doing to great until we rolled up on a hot spot and pulled about 20. Jigs of choice were pink n white, and blue ice two inch slab slayer. Also got a bonus catfish that I am frying up tomorrow. Warning watch your boat on ramps the water is very low. I heard someone got stuck bad this morning. Crappiejoe12 showed off he and his wife's new lake pad and I was impressed. It reminded me of a B-52's song

I put in at Lighthouse/ Purvis and it is not to bad. You have to take it very slow...I did start to drop off a little bit and had to push the boat off the trailer. I did not see Silver Sands but that's where I heard someone got stuck today and had to be lifted out.

People are getting hung on any of those ramps about every day. Needs another foot and half of water, or more.

If you guy's want to fish that area the ramp at the Hurricane Deck bridge has been good even when the lake was at 653. I have a tandem axle trailer and haven't had any problems there. Nice mess of crappie and blue cat!
