I have two on my 1875 Lund Impact with a Merc 150 4-stroke which is a heavy boat. I said for a long time that I would not spend that much money on anchors but now that I have them I sure am happy I did.
I am looking at a 12" Talon and wonder if anyone has used one and if they like them. I "think" it would be very handy, just not sure.

I have one on mine and love it. With one I use the trolling motor to hold me in a certain direction if needed.

I have 2 12'ers and love them. Have them on a 22' skeeter an in 10' of water or less they are solid in most any wind.
I have two 20 pound anchors for less than a C-note. I can anchor up in just about any depth and wind without issue.

I wish people would quit making stuff I want and can't afford. It just aggravates me.
I think if you fish mostly shallow water they would be great. With the variety of water I fish and methods I could probably use them less than half the time though.
