Default A Bourbeuse River runs through it.

Poured 5" out of rain gauge. That is the last 24 hours. Still raining. This is the view from kitchen window. Been a long time since it was this high. Name: image.jpg

This weather pattern of a stalled front that pumps moisture from the Gulf in a SouthWest to NorthEast pattern and settling in for days happens multiple times a year now. It gets discouraging....wish we could pump this water somewhere they need it,it's a shame.

My kid's are smarter than me....they all moved to higher ground and I'm still down in the swamp....hope the levee's hold....Mississippi river is going to be testing them again, and they are going to be soft from the rain.

Have 1" in rain gauge from overnight rains in Kansas city. All rain south of us for now. Just calling for sleet and snow tonight and tomorrow.

That's the Osage river or lake as of now. The tree stand of mine is 25 ft up in a tree. Them deer better grow gills and fins.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
