Wind wind wind, that was the story for this past weekend, spent most of my time fishing in West Sandy, not where I was hoping to fish but if I was going to fish that's were I had to go. I spider rigged with jigs both days, the hot colors were Popsicle, glow green/chart, and pearl with red and blue sparkle (firecracker), Popsicle was a crappie magnet and the others were Mid south tubes, the best depth seemed to be the 10 to 12 fow depth moving a little faster than I normally go spider rigging with a total of 3/4 oz of weight on the line. Water temperatures were between 46 and 50 degrees with a slight stain. Now the numbers, Saturday I caught 102 total with 11 keepers, Sunday I caught 48 total with 4 keepers, Sunday the wind shifted and I had to fish the opposite banks I fished Saturday. Not this coming year but the next 2017 should be a banner year, a lot of the fish were the 8 to 9 inch range. I'm hoping to get back in a couple weeks.
Merry Christmas to all,
Ray
