Yes, it's in the rules because many people don't know that it's not a good idea to post their phone number publicly. All I am trying to do is to help you all, and protect you from possibly having to change your phone number because of all the calls from solicitors you might end up with. Or even worse, some crazy stalker, who knows. And even if you don't care, others will see your ad, with your number in it, and they will assume they have to include it in their ad.

If you're in business, it's different, it's kinda obvious then that you really do want calls, to help you make sales. And you're prolly already used to screening out solicitors.

Well, if you have an ad here, and want to sell something, maybe you should get on and check. On top of that, if you use the default option, you're automatically subscribed to threads you post on, so you'll get an email if someone posts to your thread. Additionally, you'll get an email if someone sends you a PM. There's a "General Settings" option for that too.
